Henry's physical and mental health decline

Later in Henrys life he was became so obese that he had to be carried around. His waist was around 140 centimeters and was covered in pus-filled boils and likely had gout. He also suffered a painful leg injury after a jousting accident in 1536 which never healed perfectly

His death

Henry unfortunately passed away on 28th of January in 1547. He was 55 when he passed, due to his obesity becoming a major health issue since he was over 400 pounds. His death was kept a secret for two days but on the 31st of January it was announced to the Parliament that Henry the VIII had died.

He was eventually buried next to Jane Seymour, his third wife and the one who had given him a son.
